Let 2017 Begin with a “Thank You”

As you start to put away the holiday decorations, get back to the gym to work off the extra slice of pie, and get your organization ready for 2017, we would like to take a minute to say “thank you” to the hard-working organizations who give back to those in need.

Here at OnStrategy, we support a different charitable organization every month. It’s one of our business practices that we’re all most proud of. Here’s a quick list of some of the organizations we have been fortunate enough to support during the past year:

Samaritan’s Purse: As unrest continues in Syria, more than 6 million people find themselves displaced. Another 2 million-plus refugees struggle to survive in neighboring countries. OnStrategy is supporting Samaritan’s Purse in meeting desperate needs by providing food relief, medicine, diapers, shoes, mattresses, and even kerosene heaters to families living in tents. http://www.samaritanspurse.org

Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation: We’re continuing to help NNCCF drive their strategic management process so they can expand their reach to enhance the quality of life of children and their families who are affected by cancer. https://nvchildrenscancer.org/

Reno National Little League: We helped support one of the local little leagues to repair and enhance a local landmark that distinctly defines generations of the baseball tradition. http://savethepyramid.com/

Operation Christmas Child: The OnStrategy team assembled shoebox gifts for Operation Christmas Child. Each box was packed full of toys, school supplies and hygiene items. The boxes were then shipped to various countries. Every box offers hope to a child and their family, many of whom are suffering in the midst of natural disasters, violence, and desperate poverty. www.samaritanspurse.org

Water for Life: OnStrategy partnered with Water for Life non-profit dedicated to drilling, establishing and renewing water wells to make clean, disease-free water readily available. As villagers say, “Life begins at the well!” www.lifetoday.org

Youth First: OnStrategy supported Youth First, a non-profit organization that mentors at-risk urban teenagers in the Reno/Sparks region of northern Nevada.  Their dedicated mentors build long-term relationships with teens as they mature into healthy, happy young adults. www.youthfirstreno.org
